The PI, another CARTA Fellow, Prof Adesola Olumide and a CARTA supervisor, Prof Adesegun Fatusi, are consultants to Plan International Nigeria and the Federal Ministry of Health in their efforts to develop up to date national materials to support the capacity-building of health workers to provide appropriate and quality care for adolescents.
The consultants are in the process of reviewing the Clinical Protocol for the Health and Development of Adolescent and Young People in Nigeria. They attended a technical working group meeting to facilitate stakeholders input into the development of the document.
This meeting took place at the Jemmyland Hotel in Nassarawa between the 19th and 20th of July 2023.
