The first dissemination meeting for the CARTA shine project took place on the 14th of August 2023 at the Cameron Hotel, Ile Ife at 10.00 am. In attendance were representatives from the Directorate of Student Affairs, the Student Union Government, Centre for Gender and Policy studies, principal officers of the university, researchers and members of the AntiSexual Harassment Committee.
There were robust discussions around the results of the study as presented and the attendees expressed the desire to take some of the study recommendations on board. The research team pledged to be available to collaborate on further institutional planning for the response and prevention of SH.
