Boladale Mapayi, the principal investigator, was a panelist at the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria Osun State Chapter on 25/08/22 with the theme: “the current realities and future perspectives of gender-based violence.”
We discussed on issues around the concept and burden of GBV in Osun state, the passage of the Violence against persons prohibition law in the state, and the implication for all stakeholders. We deliberated on prevention and response efforts in the state and the role of medical women.
